Automation & Security

Automation & Security

Our automation systems can tie into our security systems to work together. They will bring your home to life while making it more secure. Security sensors such as motion detectors, under floor sensors, vehicle detectors, door contacts, window contacts, etc., will all be enabled for security when you are not there. However, when you are there, they can do much more by acting as triggers for other components of your system.

Some of the different automation features that you can combine are:

In Wall Touchscreens

Control your home with the touch of a button, view photos when not in use, show video from your cameras, and even access the Internet.

Vehicle Detection

Announce visitors and turn on lights, also see video of your guests arrival.

Lighting

Architectural quality lighting control creates one touch ambiance and passive security for a lived in look when you're away. See the lighting control page for more information.

Heating and Cooling

Be comfortable when home and save energy when away with indoor/outdoor temperature and energy management. Communicating thermostats provide heating and cooling control that can interconnect with temperature and humidity sensors. They can even be programmed to turn on attic fans or turn off the air conditioning if windows are opened.

Motion Detection

This can be achieved through in wall, or in ceiling sensors, as well as invisible underfloor sensors. They serve a dual purpose, security for intrusion and occupancy for automatic lighting.

Home Theater

Start a movie, close the blinds and adjust the lighting all with the touch of one button on your remote control. See the Theaters and Media Rooms page for more information.

Water Leak Detection

Utilize sensors to automatically shut off the water to the house if there is a leak, protect your investment.

Internet

Control your automation and see the status of your house from anywhere via the web. Great for frequent travelers and people with second homes.

Telephones

Get status updates to your phone to advise on temperature, security, and more.
